i remember using loreal a couple years back (when i went darker) that's the only time i used a box brand and it worked perfectly well, it didn't damage it and just deposited color (which is better for your hair than lightening it)What is the best hair color to use(BRAND NAME) ? I always liked Loving Care. It has a conditioner rinse that really softens and conditions your hair. It actually feels better after you've colored your hair than before.
The best color to be bought at a store is L'oreal. No hair color is safe. Before you use the color, make sure that you have no cuts or scrapes on your scalp. If you do, wait a couple of weeks for them to heal. If hair color was to get into your bloodstream, it could kill you! Also, anything that you put into your hair to alter it in anyway is going to cause damage. Color is not as bad as bleach. Bleaching or lifting color really does damage.
