Brown and red are both nice, along with black. Also, deep jewel tones, like wine and dark sapphire can be pulled off nicely as long as you're careful on choosing a good tone, especially as streaks/highlights.
dark skinned people look better in a Burgundy.
light colored hair never looks natural on dark skinned people... dark hair for dark skin and in the summer time some some auburn highlights look good.
I am a firm believer that darker skinned ppl can wear most colors. Just think black is composed of every color!!!

Im really dark-skinned but my hair color is like an auburn type color and it looks black when i wet it. I think it looks nice.
