What's the best hair color for me?

I've dyed my hair before, to like a darkish brown but my hair is naturally chestnut colored, like a really light brown.





But after I dyed my hair my roots have been that light brownish color and the rest has been this reddish blondeish darkish brown color and I HATE how red looks in my hair.





What color should I dye it? And I have medium skin.
