I like my dark black hair but I just want to add some natural looking highlights to it, I was thinking about brown, caramel,or beige highlights but I most probably going to be using the store-bought dyes and I've read a lot of stuff about how some asian people tried dying their hair and it turned out an ugly reddish orange color.
What can I do to avoid this?
My friend suggested that I use Loreal Feria Caramel higlights but I'm not sure yet. What is the best hair color for Asian hair?
like an rich brownWhat is the best hair color for Asian hair?
u could use caramel or maybe even a light brown
depends on how attractive you are and your facial features. get advice from a senior stylist.
black with honey highlights
a dark red
no beige. that looks tacky.
i'd go with the caramel
black
try dark rich browns.
i have asian hair too, and i use Hi-Light Styliste in toasted almond, and it looks brown not reddish. becareful though, because no body likes blond asians.
Do brown, but like a bear color brown, or maybe caramel, bear brown combo with a 'touch' of dark blonde. That will look so CUTE on an asian person!
red streaks look really cool on asian girls.
there is also an asian woman in my area with light brown/dark blonde hair...looks beautiful.
brack is best
honey, u used the word ';Natural'; in your question. The ';natural'; color for an asian girl is the color on her hair and nothing else. but if you want other name you the colors continue reading the answers. If you want people tell you which color is good for you and know their ideas you can upload your pic somewhere and link it in your question (which I really advice you NOT to do because of security reasons) but with this question you will just see them tell you a color without any vision about you. It's a good idea to go to a fashion center in your neighbour and ask them about the color which make you look more beautiful or/and let them to run the business for you!
please stay natural or make it blacker...natural asian hair=so beautiful!!! but i can understand wanting a little change. i personally think red highlights look awful. brownish blonde streaks would be gorgeous. and unless you're an expert, don't try to do it yourself
Light brown
red
Use loreal color or better still visit a professional hair stylist to get best results
DARK RED is hott
For Asian people I say black
black
If you use bleech with 6% peroxide it will lift your hair 2 shades lighter giving you some lighter brown highlites which will look lovely and not to OTT.
yes, a store hair color will turn your black hair reddish, go to a professional, or even a beauty school can add a few highlights for under $25. Why not try a funky color like deep red, or a chocolate cherry color??
Rich brown, dark red..
I have mahogany highlights and I have black hair! x
alot of asian girls die their hair this color. i think u should do this. its like a redd-ish color

brown, caramel,or beige highlights are perfect. But my personal favourite colour would be red. Its not a natural looking colour, but it's very nice. If you want to go natural use a light brown, rich brown or the ones you suggested. Ask your hairstylist if you are getting it done from them. I think you should get it done from an hairstylist if you want to avoid the orange red situation. Try a natural looking ye so it wont damage your hair much. Use Loreal Feria araml highlights they work good. Your friend is right. If you are still not sure do some research and find the right dye:D Good Luck. I really hope this helped you!
i suggest brown highlights they will probably look cool
black with aurburn or red or honey hilights...
dark brown with golden highlights or light brown highlights
black hair with both reddish/ purple and blonde highlights looks really good.
i would acctully dont even do anything with it just because you do not want to ruin your hair. but if you really wanted to..i would go with the caramel.
good lucck.
caramel would look cool, with some dark blonde mixed in. ask your hairdresser. she would probably know.
Red highlights
