My hair color right now is the same color as my avatar... a light brown color...I'm thinking about dying it a jet black color...What do you all think might be a good hair color for me.What do you think is the best hair color for a light skinned African American.?
A jet black might work for you, but if you wanted to go darker, I would either say a midnight black, which gives a slight hint of blue at depending on the lighting, or a rich dark brown with cafe colored highlights. What do you think is the best hair color for a light skinned African American.?
i had the same concerns when i dyed my hair for the 1st time last month, i am latina and on the medium/dark side skin tone. my sister wanted me to go dark for the winter so i went with the brown black shade and i love it! i also had a friend put in burgundy highlights. may sound nutty to some, but it looks great and i get so many compliments on it! it took me a little to adjust to it visually because my hair was medium to light brown, but i am truly glad i did it. whatever you do, rock it with confidence, honey! best of luck!
red or honey blond
I think a deep red would be really pretty
I would say that your hair color is perfect for you. Why try to fix what isn't broken?
Dark brown or black with honey highlights! Good Luck!
Sometimes I think jet black alone is too harsh i.e. Naomi Campbell. I really like Beyonce's haircolor.
It all depends on your skin tone and eye color. Some women like T'Boz from TLC and Faith Evans can wear the blonde hair and wear it well. But then you have some women who it doesn't look right on them. In my opinion, I think light skinned women look better with just plain old brown hair. Black hair usually tends to make you look pale.
black but with brown tones not JET black
I think your natural color would be your best color, why mess with what you were born with?
I think bright florescent green [half] combined with bright florescent pink [other half] would be PERFECT; and so natural-looking!
